Licences, Cover and the Rules
What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?
Any labour we carry out on your plumbing. If something we've fixed isn't right, we come back. No questions. No cost. It's not limited to a set number of months, and there's no fine print reducing what's covered. That's the whole promise, nothing narrower.
Who can legally do gas work in NSW?
Only a licensed gasfitter. It's not a job for a general handyman or a DIY fix, under NSW law. Every gas job we handle is carried out by an appropriately licensed tradesperson, exactly as the rules require. If you ever smell gas, leave the property and call from outside before ringing anyone.
What is safe to try myself before you arrive?
For a leak or burst pipe, turn off the water at the meter and mop up what you can; that's the single biggest thing you can do before we arrive. Stay well clear of any electrics near standing water, and if you smell gas, leave the property and call from outside. Beyond that, leave it alone. Poking at a blocked drain or a hot water unit can turn a simple fix into a bigger one.
Can I check your plumbing licence?
Absolutely, ask any time. We hold NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, and every plumber we send holds both, no exceptions. There's nothing hidden about our credentials. We'd rather you check than take our word for it.

How Fast, How Late, How Booked
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes, every weekend and every public holiday, at the same price as a Tuesday afternoon. A weekend or a public holiday isn't a reason to make you wait. Christmas Day included. You'll never be told to wait until Monday.
How does the callback form work?
Fill it in with your name, number and a note on what's wrong, and it comes straight through to us. We call you back quickly, any hour, whether it's 2am or a Sunday afternoon. It's just as fast as ringing direct if the phone's not handy right that second.
What happens after I call?
We run through what's going on with you first, then dispatch the nearest available plumber, on-site fast. You'll get a time frame before we hang up, and a firm number once the plumber has had a proper look. No surprises land on the invoice afterwards.
Are you really open 24/7?
Yes, genuinely, not just on the website. Someone answers the phone at 3am the same as 3pm. That's a real person, not an answering machine, with public holidays and Christmas Day both included. We don't run seasonal hours or shut early on a Friday.

Rockdale Knowledge
What does heavy rain do to Rockdale's plumbing?
Rockdale's low points sit inside the Muddy Creek and Scarborough Ponds drainage catchments, and heavy rain finds them fast. Spring storm season is when we see the most call-outs for stormwater surcharge and overflowing gutters, especially on streets nearer the creek. If water's backing up through a floor drain during a downpour, that's usually the stormwater system nearby maxed out, not a fault in your own pipes.
How local are you to Rockdale, really?
Genuinely local, not just in a domain name. We're on King Street and Princes Highway regularly, and we know which streets flood first when the drains back up. It's the kind of familiarity that comes from doing the work here week after week, not from a map.
Do you work on Rockdale's apartments and strata blocks?
Regularly. With so much of the suburb now living in units, strata call-outs for shared hot water systems and stack blockages are a big part of the job. We're used to dealing with body corporates and building managers directly, not just individual owners, so getting access sorted is rarely the hold-up it can be elsewhere.
Which suburbs do you service?
Rockdale plus the suburbs that touch it: Bexley, Arncliffe, Brighton-Le-Sands, Kogarah and Bexley North. Sitting a street or two past one of those boundaries won't stop us picking up. Our regular run covers most of the surrounding Bayside area too.
Money, Fixed Prices and the $0 Call Out Fee
Do prices change once the job starts?
No. Whatever we quote before we start is what you pay when we finish, even when it takes longer than we first thought.
The price we quote is the price you pay. No exceptions.
You approve that price before any work begins, so nothing gets added afterwards.
Is the quote really free?
Yes, completely. We look at the job and give you a price before anything is booked in.
There's no cost for that visit, no call-out fee and no obligation to go ahead.
If the price works for you, we get started. If it doesn't, you owe us nothing.
How can I pay?
However suits you. We take card payments on-site, so you don't need to organise a bank transfer or dig up cash before we leave.
The final figure matches the quote you approved earlier, nothing more. You get a receipt for your records straight away, too.
Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?
No. Our pricing doesn't shift because the clock does.
Whether it's 2am on a Tuesday or a public holiday Sunday, you get the same price you'd get on a weekday afternoon. We quote the job, not the hour it happens to be.
